Rules for Camp Ida Christian Youth Encampment

 

A.    When using Camp Ida Christian Youth Encampment facility the following rules must be followed.  Please use this as a checklist before and after using the camp facility.

 

_____1.  Wash all cooking and eating utensils and put them in the proper places in the kitchen.

 

_____2.  Remove food from refrigerators and freezers that will not keep over a prolonged time as produce, milk, juice, and meat.  Clean refrigerator and freezers when they are empty.

 

_____3.  Remove all perishable foods before leaving the camp facility.

 

_____4.  Inspect the grounds and pick waste papers, plastic drink bottles, and cans.

 

_____5.  Put waste material that can be burnt, as paper and plastics in the burn barrels.  Burn this material only under adult supervision and be sure to attend while it is burning.

 

_____6.  Food waste must be removed from the facility regularly to maintain proper health conditions.  Scraps may be disposed by taking these into the woods do not attempt to use the garbage disposal for this purpose!

 

_____7.  Waste material consisting of aluminum foil and tin cans must be bagged in heavy-duty polybags.  Aluminum soft drink cans are to be bagged in separate containers for recycling.

 

____8.  Chairs, tables, counter tips, and kitchen equipment must be washed and dried.

 

____9.  Chairs, tables, books and sporting goods are not to be left out side! They have a place inside the dinning hall.

 

____10.  Song books and Bibles are to be put in the bookracks.

 

____11.  All floor areas must be cleaned and made free of food, drinks and dirt.

 

____12.  Bathhouses must be washed down and all garments, towels and bath articles removed.

 

____13.  Toilet tissue rolls must be kept out of the commode bowls.

 

____14.  All cabins must be cleaned; all personal belongings removed.

 

____15.  Lower all flaps and shut doors to cabins.

 

____16. Do not turn off power to swimming pools.   The breaker box is the one at the infirmary.

 

____17.  Allow only plastic or rubber objects into the swimming pool.  Do not allow sharp objects to enter the pool.

 

____18.  No mixed sex occupancy of swimming pool enclosure while swimming.

 

____19.  No tank tops, halter tops, shorts, or see through clothing is permitted to be worn.

 

____20.  Except while swimming, clothing must reach to bend of knees.  All clothing worn must be modest.

 

____21.  No tobacco is permitted in the facility of Camp Ida.

 

____22.  No alcohol or drugs are permitted in the Camp Ida facility.  An authorized adult must administer all prescribed drugs.

 

____23.  No dancing allowed.

 

____24.  No profanity allowed.

 

____25.  No brawling allowed.

 

____26.  Electricity to wells is to be left on.  The Main breaker for the closest well is located on the box at the rear of the dinning hall.  The breaker box for the boy�s side well is on the pole close the boy�s bathhouse.

 

____27. If cooking at the camp the butane tank will have to be turned on at the tank.  Before departure turn the tank off at the tank.

 

___28. The King James and/or American Standard versions will be the standard for teaching.

 

____29.  Recreational vehicles are discouraged; additional costs will be added to users fee for each R. V. used.  Caretaker must give authorization and placement of R. V.�s.

 

B.   A user fee of $75.00 per day plus $30.00 per day for each R. V. brought to Camp Ida.  A deposit of $ 100.00 is required.  Please present this amount to the caretaker upon entering the Camp Ida facility.  The deposit will be refunded, but Camp Ida Christian Youth Encampment will retain the deposit if compliance is not followed as outlined above it.  Failure to comply with these rules will be cause to eject or refuse further use.
